Val Kristopher Sabotage Denim, Levi’s 501 Denim Jeans have been re-worked to create this piece. The original denim was first overdyed to achieve an Amethyst colourway. These 5-pocket jeans have a YKK zip fly, Custom CF button fastening and custom back pocket rivets, with any original hardware left being metal worked to reduce the surface finish and achieve a unique patina. The Jeans have been broken down completely and put back together to give a slightly slimmer tailored fit profile, with the sabotage shredding detail applied to the front and backs of both legs of the denim and then backed with a black bull denim to give weight to the piece that contributes to the stacked effect you can achieve when these are worn. Our custom Piñatex® pineapple maroon leather patch is featured at the back waistband, with Val Kristopher bar branding at the top of the back pocket, right hand side as worn. Filipino tribal cotton, made using traditional handloom weaving methods in Mindanao, hand-picked from the Philippines, is featured at the lower leg panels. Stud detailing on the left-hand side as worn front pocket, meticulous back and forth lapped stitching and a handmade raw braid and chain attachment complete the details on this piece.
