Val Kristopher Armoured Denim, Levi’s 501 Denim Jeans have been re-worked to create this piece. These 5-pocket jeans have a YKK zip fly, Custom CF button fastening and custom back pocket rivets, with any original hardware left being metal worked to reduce the surface finish and achieve a unique patina. The Jeans have been broken down completely and put back together to give a relaxed, slightly flared fit profile, with armoured legs inserted via meticulous back and forth lapped stitching. The whole garment has been hand-dyed in our Lab, using a combination of Yorkshire Tea and Iron; the way in which the dye reacts with the weft fibres of the denim gives an unrivalled level of depth to the piece. Our custom Piñatex® pineapple maroon leather patch is featured at the back waistband, with Val Kristopher bar branding at the top of the back pocket, right hand side as worn. Distress and repair patches can be found in both the front and back areas, backed with a silk jacquard paisley fabric. Signature Val Kristopher logo print at the left-hand side as worn complete the details on this piece.
